PharmaTrack is not a regulator
PharmaTrack is not the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN), not the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), and not any other regulator. Licence checks shown on PharmaTrack are PharmaTrack's own checks — they are not a regulator's register, and they are not an endorsement by any regulator.
Batch and NAFDAC information is what the Pharmacy recorded
Batch numbers, expiry dates, and NAFDAC numbers shown on PharmaTrack are what the Pharmacy recorded for its own stock. They are not a guarantee that a product is genuine, safe, or fit for any particular use. Always check the physical product and, where it matters, confirm with the relevant authority.
We never declare a product fake
PharmaTrack never declares a product fake or counterfeit. Suspicious-product reports on PharmaTrack are unverified reports from members of the public, pending confirmation by the relevant authority. A report appearing on PharmaTrack is not a finding against any Pharmacy or product.
No medical or pharmaceutical advice
Nothing on PharmaTrack is medical or pharmaceutical advice. Decisions about medicines belong to qualified professionals and to the patient's own clinician or Pharmacist — not to this software.
No drug sales through PharmaTrack
No drugs are bought or sold through PharmaTrack. It is a record-keeping tool for Pharmacies; any sale happens between the Pharmacy and its customer, outside this platform.
Availability is not guaranteed
We aim to keep PharmaTrack available at all times, but service availability is not guaranteed. Planned maintenance and unexpected outages can happen, and your Pharmacy should keep its own backup of essential records.
